GENERAL DESCRIPTION Situated off an obscure dusty road, right at the water's edge, The Hideaway offers a return to nostalgic Hawaii Tiki Bar of old. Guests are greeted by rows of Tiki poles supporting a matted overhead, lush foliage, wood carvings and an exquisite tropical garden setting. As you enter the main dining area, your vision is overwhelmed by the mesmerizing South Seas decor. There are shell lamps, bamboo accents, cane and wicker chairs, a carved canoe used as a serving bar, a piano, fish tanks, a parrot and even a faux waterfall. After sunset, the room glimmers in dim accent lighting, transforming your dining experience into an encounter with supreme relaxation. A full bar and Hawaiian music on the sound system makes this the perfect Happy Hour retreat. History (410K; pdf) Article (100K; pdf) |
