The discounted military package price of $85 is only
valid at selected free sites in areas 3, 4 or 5 (travel fees to
some remote areas may apply). Beach wedding (ROE) permit fees are added, when applicable. If the site you
select in area 4 or 5 requires our performers to pay for parking (for
example, Hale Koa Hotel or Waikiki), it is ineligible for the discount
unless you compensate all performers for parking ($10). If you select a
site outside Honolulu, Areas 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 & 9), the military discount does not apply.
Your marriage license will submitted to the State Vital Records Office for recording
within 3 business days after your wedding service. If you want us to
make a special trip to hand-carry your marriage license to the State
Vital Records Office the first business day after your
wedding, that is what we call Expedite Service, which we are
happy to provide for a $20 fee.
Normal Processing takes the office 1 to 3 days
for data entry to get your license entered into their filing system. Once it is on file
in their computer, you
can request they print out a certified copy of your license by using the green form
they gave you & paying the $10 fee. If you do not have the
form, you can get another in the lobby of the State Health
Department. You can do this at any time after your marriage date. If you do not request an
expedited copy using the green form, one will be sent
automatically at no charge in about 4 months or 120 days.
A Beach Wedding $95 does not provide copies of your Hawaii
Marriage License. We do give you an original signed keepsake Certificate of Marriage that may be
helpful in applying for benefits for your spouse. You can show it to
your finance officer or other official to hopefully get the paperwork process started. Check with your finance officer in advance to see what
else you can do to facilitate the documentation your change in marital status. Most
military commands on Oahu have seen lots of our paperwork as we do perform many
weddings here for active duty military personnel.
Change Your Mind? If after the ceremony you have
second thoughts about being married and request us to destroy the
certificate or not file it, we will refuse. Once the vows are said &
accepted, you are married under the law. Get an attorney.
