TERMS & CONDITIONS
Below is a sample of the Terms and Conditions of your contract with us which becomes binding on both parties when you make deposit payment for services to be rendered and electronically sign your specific contract agreement.
The items below along with our most recent quote provided to you electronically or by mail for services represents the sum of our contract offer to you. In order to accept our services offer for your event an authorized person will need to please sign below to acknowledge acceptance of all applicable TERMS and CONDITIONS. An initial deposit payment is also required to schedule your event and is non-refundable.
Marriage Application and Licensing – You must bring a Completed Marriage License Worksheet issued to you in person by an agent of the Department of Health for the State Department of Health. What to Bring – Make sure you bring your COMPLETED MARRIAGE LICENSE WORKSHEET and your wedding RINGS. Witnesses are not a legal requirement in the State of Hawaii.
Remaining balance due – Any remaining balance due may be paid in cash or by certified check made payable to Jade H. Glover or by major credit card using our online payment service plus a 3% processing fee, prior your event. No personal checks can be accepted. In the event a person authorized to accept payment on our behalf will not be in attendance the balance will be required to be paid online and payment would then be due at least 1 day prior to the ceremony date.
Associated Costs – You are responsible for all associated costs such as licensing, materials used for the ceremony, and any applicable location fees including parking for vendors, with the exception of specific items and permit or venue costs contractually to be provided by us.
Our time commitment to you– Your scheduled TEAM will arrive to meet you on site at about 15 minutes prior to the indicated ceremony time and will remain to perform all services provided for in our agreement with you and will be scheduled to depart promptly at the end of the allotted time specified for a particular service based on the scheduled ceremony start time. This is generally from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the service provided, with the actual ceremony taking approximately 15 minutes.
Overtime Charge – Please arrive promptly in order for your ceremony to begin as scheduled as there may be multiple events by us for that day. Your minister will be scheduled to depart 30 minutes after your scheduled start time regardless if the ceremony has taken place or not. If he or she is able to stay, your overtime charge will be $25 for every 15 minutes thereafter, or any portion thereof. This will also be applicable for each staff member or vendor provided by I Want To Marry You Weddings for your event. Any late fees incurred must be paid before the event will start. Any changes in the ceremony start time must be agreed to by us with at least 24 hours notice.
Your Ceremony – You may elect to do personal vows or make personal statements and/ or to have a reading done by a guest or family member. These must be approved by us in advance. You may not change the ceremony script that is used by the officiant.
Contact Information and Reconfirmation – We will call, text, or e-mail you at least one day before to reconfirm your event.
Outside Vendors – Outside vendors must be approved by us in advance and, where required, such as is the case with photographers and videographers, must provide proof of current General Liability Insurance coverage with an aggregate $1,0000,000.00 limit along with a copy of the appropriate State of Hawaii OR City & County media permit. You will be charged a $25.00 fee per outside vendor in order for them to participate in the event. Outside vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and will be subject to instructions by our senior team member on site.
Changes to your contract – Subject to our approval, changes to your contract can be made up to 30 days before your event. Any requests for additions to our services within 30 days will be accommodated if possible. Cancellation of any items or services within 30 days is strictly prohibited.
Cancellation Policy – Your initial deposit is non-refundable. You will additionally be responsible for the difference in the following cancellation charges, if applicable:
- Cancellation 31 days to 60 days before your scheduled ceremony date : 50% of all charges included in your contract will be payable to us by the event date as originally scheduled.
- Cancellation 30 days or less before your scheduled ceremony date : 100% of all charges included in your contract will be payable to us by the event date as originally scheduled.
- Cancellation of any services or items previously ordered is strictly prohibited within 30 days of your scheduled event.
Rain Check Policy – If a postponement is necessary due to inclement weather or other similar unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a rain check date only if we are available to do so. Much of the time just a change in time and/or location will resolve weather issues. Some additional expenses may apply due to a postponement.
Substitution Policy– In the event that any of our scheduled vendors is unable to service your event for any reason a qualified substitute will be sent in his or her place.
Photography & Video Services – Any photos and videos provided by I Want To Marry You Weddings will remain the property of I Want To Marry You Weddings and may be used by us for promotional purposes. However, you are hereby issued a release for personal usage rights of all photos and/or videos that we have provided to you. Photo and video packages are provided online in digital format and generally takes about 30 days to complete
